Service Level Agreements – SLA’s

Service Level Agreements

Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are contracts between two parties that describe how a service will be provided to the customer. One example of SLA’s is the nature of contracts in the telecommunications and security industries, where customers pay a fixed price for phone and security services, expecting the service to be provided in the expected standard and complying with the terms agreed.

SLA’s are very important for both the organization providing the service as well as the customer receiving it, as it highlights the measurable metrics and results the customer expects to receive. Benefits that arise from such agreements include the following:

  1. Clearly defining the goal and scope of the agreement
  2. The timeframe in which the services will be delivered
  3. Outlines the guaranteed variables of the service
  4. Indicates the mutual responsibilities of the customer and the service provider
  5. The procedure of the service execution

As the customer is guaranteed to be provided with a certain service quality, in turn, the provider strives to deliver the defined responsibilities and tasks. Krypto has implemented these type of agreements in the form of The Krypto Safety Club BeSafe Plans and extensive BeSafe corporate contracts, which are available to the public as of November!
