How escalation works
The response follows the evidence and the client’s agreed plan.

Verified alarm eventsWhen video or multiple detector activations indicate a genuine incident, operators follow the agreed escalation procedure, including keyholders and, when necessary, Police or the Fire Brigade.

Plans without patrol attendanceKeyholders are notified. If patrol attendance is requested or confirmed, dispatch is available at a call-out charge of €60 + VAT. Emergency services may also be contacted when considered necessary.
Flexible payment
Monthly payments are available through SEPA or JCCSmart, with the option to prepay the full one-year contract. System compatibility, city-area patrol coverage and the final response procedure are confirmed by Krypto for each property.

An operator reviews the information available and follows the response procedure agreed for that property, including the relevant contact and escalation steps.
Which alarm systems can connect to Krypto Monitoring?
The system must be installed by Krypto or by a police-licensed installer. Compatibility and the required connection method are confirmed before monitoring begins.
Is there a minimum monitoring agreement?
Yes. A minimum agreement period of one year applies to the monitoring plans shown on this page.
Where is patrol attendance available?
Patrol coverage applies within the city areas of Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos. Village areas are not included. The exact property location is confirmed before a plan is agreed.
What happens when an alarm is verified?
When video or multiple detector activations indicate a genuine incident, the operator follows the property’s agreed escalation procedure. This can include keyholders, patrol and, when necessary, Police or the Fire Brigade.
What happens if my package does not include patrol attendance?
Keyholders are notified. If patrol attendance is requested or confirmed, dispatch is available at a call-out charge of €60 + VAT. Emergency services may also be contacted when considered necessary.
What does Video Analytics Monitoring include?
It includes system-operation checks confirming that the NVR and cameras are online, operator response to video-analytics alarms, live voice warnings where compatible speakers are installed, patrol attendance where deemed necessary and event-status communication with keyholders.
Does monitoring replace notifications on my phone?
No. It adds a responsible human response when you are asleep, travelling, unavailable or unable to assess the event yourself.
