No. New properties can use a complete wired KNX foundation, while existing homes can use wireless or carefully planned hybrid systems with less disruption.
Can security and smart-home controls work together?
Yes. Where the selected systems support it, access, alarms, lighting, shading, climate and water controls can follow coordinated scenes and response rules.
What happens if the internet is unavailable?
All systems operate locally regardless of the internet connection. The only limitation while the internet is unavailable is remote access to the system.
Can the system change as our routines change?
Yes. Our user-friendly mobile app allows end users to adjust scenes and permissions easily. They can also invite Krypto through the app for time-limited, restricted remote support.
